Winter is coming and its getting nice and chilly out. I love curling up on the couch, in front of the fireplace with a nice warm bowl of hearty stew. Rarely do I find time to sit, let alone in front of the fire place but stew I make time for!
4 Servings. Each Serving 1 Lean, 3 Green, 1 Condiment
1.75 lb Beef Stew Meat
1 Can No Salt Added Diced Tomato
4 1/2 Cups Cabbage
1 Cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
1/2 tsp Ms. Dash Italian Blend
1/4 tsp Salt
Water to Cover
In a large pot brown the outside of the meat. Then add all the ingrediants and cover with water. For best results allow it to simmer on a low to medium heat for a few hours (or in a crock pot) otherwise medium to high heat for 30 minutes.
