Smoked Chicken in a BBQ Sauce

As soon as I saw liquid smoke years ago I fell in love. Now that its getting cold and I’m looking for yummy ways to recreate the flavors of summer.

SMOKED CHICKEN 4 Servings: 1 Lean, 1Condiment and 1 Healthy Fat

SAUCE 4 Serving: 1 Green,  1 Condiment

Ingredients for Smoked Chicken:

2. lb Ground White Chicken

1/2 Cup Egg Beaters

4 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed

1/4 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

2 tsp Liquid Smoke


Preheat oven to 350 deg. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Form mixture into little logs and line on the parchment paper. Bake in the oven for 25-30 min. Serve warm or cool

Ingredients for BBQ Sauce:

2 Cup Hunts Tomato Sauce No Salt Added

1/2 tsp Ms. Dash Italian Blend

2 tsp Liquid Smoke

1/4 tsp Salt


Place all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a low boil. Let it boil/steam for 5-10 min till it heats thru and reduces a little. Then place it in a heat safe container and let it chill in the fridge. Serve as a dipping sauce chilled or brush on meat as a BBQ sauce.
